Black Box Studios International was founded on a single conviction: that infrastructure should move at the speed of imagination and be an enabler of creative possibilities - not a barrier. Designed by people who have spent four decades delivering the structural backbone behind some of the world's largest concerts, films, television productions and live events.
Black Box Studios International reimagines a different future for filmmaking. Collectively, we have worked at the cutting edge of film, television, music, events, and sustainability in over 80 countries for over 60 years.
Black Box Studios International is built on the belief that innovation doesn't have to come from doing more. Sometimes it comes from asking a different question. We asked 'What if studios could travel?' After decades of experience with temporary architecture, engineering and rigging in the film, television, music and events industries, that single question set us on a new trajectory of designing modular studios to suit any level of production. Our mission is to increase access to professional film infrastructure by creating flexible, deployable studios that enable productions to create and locate anywhere. Our vision is a world in which geography is no longer a barrier to great filmmaking, where productions can easily access state-of-the-art studio infrastructure, and where engineering meets imagination to inspire creative possibilities.
